Common questions
Will my phone work?
Any eSIM-capable, carrier-unlocked phone: iPhone XS or newer, Pixel 3 or newer, Galaxy S20 or newer, and most recent mid-range Android models. If your phone is locked to a carrier, the eSIM will not install — ask your carrier to unlock it first.
Can I keep my own number?
Yes. The eSIM sits in a second slot and carries data only, so your home SIM stays on for calls and bank codes. Turn mobile data off on the home line to avoid roaming charges, and leave the line itself switched on.
When does the clock start?
When the eSIM first connects to a network in the destination — not when you buy it. Buy weeks ahead if you like; nothing runs down until you land.
Can I use the hotspot?
Yes, on every plan unless the plan page says otherwise. Tethering counts against the same data allowance.
What happens when the data runs out?
The connection stops. Add a top-up from the app and it resumes — a top-up adds both data and days to the same eSIM, so you do not have to install anything again.
